  I stayed in Keswick over Easter and there was just one shop there that really caught my attention. It was Alternative. First of all I love the name and the theme. The idea of a little shop which you can buy any souvenir, present or little cute item is so awesome! My new favourite shop is Alternative, the owners are really kind and friendly and you always get the service that you want. Every single little item is so cute and really amazing with loads of unique bits and bobs. You will always find something different that you will fall in love with.

  We have visited the shop quite a few times and always found the stock really interesting. I bought a brilliant clock there a couple of weeks ago but once I got it home and put batteries in it kept stopping after a few hours. I called to ask about it and the very helpful lady said send it back and we will send you a replacement. I posted the clock and a few days later not only did they send another clock but also enclosed the cost of my postage, to say we are impressed is an understatement! Thank you so much for such excellent help and service we will definitely be back to see you on our next trip to Keswick.
